Seven trades, one workshop
We started with MGs and learned every trade a car needs. Today we look after any make, with the same hands and the same diagnosis machine.

Procedure R
Every car is different, so every restoration starts with a look and a quote. Then it follows the same order, in the same workshop.
Step 1
You bring the car, we look at it together: what is original, what is tired, what is missing. Then a quote, with no commitment.
Step 2
Parts come off in order and are labelled, so the car goes back together exactly as it should.
Step 3
The steel is repaired and shaped, then primed and painted in the right colour.
Step 4
Engine, carburettors, brakes and wiring are rebuilt or replaced with new and used MG parts.
Step 5
Everything goes back on, then we adjust and road-test until it drives as it should.
Step 6
You collect the car and we go through what was done, part by part.

Robalo & Macedo began with one man and one make. Agostinho Macedo started restoring MGs in 1967, and did it so well that he became known as the "Mourinho dos MG". Years of classics taught us every trade a car needs, which is how we came to look after every make.

We have new and used parts for classic and recent MGs. Call with the model and year.
Yes, for modern cars of any make. A preventive check finds faults before they become bigger repairs.
It depends on the car. Call or drop by for a quote with no commitment.
Monday to Friday, 8:30–12:30 and 13:30–18:00. Closed at weekends. We close for holidays in August and at the end of the year, and post the dates on Facebook.
